Hi, I’m Heather Hanson.
I’m a Board Certified Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine Health Coach in Georgetown, Texas.
I provide comprehensive health & wellness coaching to empower people like you with the knowledge you need to feel your best.

Most importantly, I want you to know I understand your struggle.
I know how frustrating it is, going from doctor to doctor, just trying to figure out why you feel so bad and how to resolve it.
Like you, I’ve struggled with a long list of unexplained symptoms: headaches, indigestion, constipation, gas, bloating, hormone imbalance, heavy periods, brain fog, anxiousness, racing heart, joint pain, weight gain…
In my mid-20s, I was diagnosed with endometriosis, and had a hysterectomy to “fix” my symptoms. But even after surgery, I struggled with abdominal pain, constipation, and bloating.
I had endless appointments with endless testing: colonoscopies, endoscopies, barium enemas, x-rays, ultrasounds…you get the picture.
In the end, it was my stubborn, redheaded nature that helped me realize I needed to be the one to find answers.
One of those answers was found in food.
For years, I was stuck in a vicious cycle of restrictive eating and binge eating. Out of desperation, I started a food elimination diet and started feeling better right away without wheat, dairy, and corn. But I “cheated” often … and every time, without fail, dairy would make my tongue, throat, and abdomen swell. Wheat would make me feel irritable and anxious with migraines, joint pain, and constipation.
After a tortuous two-week period in which I didn’t have a single bowel movement, I decided enough was enough. Cheating wasn’t worth it. I deserved better, and I needed to recommit to myself and my health.
After all, if I was not kind and loving to myself, who would be?
Giving myself permission to get well was a game-changer for my career. I had already spent years working in an internal medicine practice, so I began expanding my training and knowledge on holistic health. I implemented a 12-week Cardiometabolic Therapeutic Lifestyle program at the practice with amazing results for some patients, but others still struggled. I continued to dive deep, taking more courses and learning about digestion, genetics, hormonal imbalance, nutrient absorption, and more.
I found my calling as a Nutritional Therapist
I found my calling as a Nutritional Therapist after completing an intensive clinical training. My passion for this work is found in the satisfaction of getting at the root of my client’s symptoms to facilitate healing and regain function.
I know that everyone can feel great and live a life full of vitality, and it’s my honor to help you get there.

Ready to reclaim your wellness?
