You are probably wondering if you will ever feel like yourself again. Your symptoms keep multiplying. First you feel sluggish and lack motivation. Your brain is foggy and even the smallest tasks feel overwhelming. You are irritable, anxious, not sleeping well and scattered. Your digestion is a mess. You are bloated, have constipation, diarrhea, heartburn and have probably been told that you have IBS.

You more than likely have developed food intolerance. You may have developed acne, rashes, eczema, or dry skin. You are in pain, have headaches, you have dark circles under your eyes, your hair is brittle and falling out, and your nails break easily. You may have vertigo or dizziness, palpitations or racing heart. You feel weak, completely fatigued (Are you tired of feeling tired) and have slow muscle recovery. You are gaining or losing weight. Your immune system is on fire. You feel TOXIC. (more about detox here)

If some or most of these symptoms sound like you, you are not alone. It is NOT in your head. I am here to give you hope and tell you that feeling like this is not your destiny. You will feel like yourself again and I am here to help you develop an individualized plan to do just that.

Are you ready to take the first steps to feel full of life, balanced and healthy?

It is important that you find a practitioner or team of practitioners who understand what you are going through, as they can help you with your journey to a lifetime of good health. Unfortunately, if you are suffering from symptoms that started after getting breast implants, it will take time to heal and repair.

It is a marathon, not a race. Be patient and embrace the healing process.

This blog is intended to help empower you to feel your best, by giving you tools to regain and maintain health for a lifetime. It contains some basic steps to help you regain health, however it is not meant to take the place of an individualized plan created specifically for you. I highly recommend you see someone who understand the complex nature of your symptoms.

First and foremost, it is important to get to the root of the dysfunction in order to heal appropriately. This includes addressing any digestive problem first, then work on the immune system and detox. If you are considering explant, I typically recommend working on healing for three months to get you prepped for surgery, unless you have a known rupture or leak. You should also meet with several explant surgeons during this time to discuss if explant is right for you.

Here are a few items to help get you started. You can find more information about the items listed by clicking on the links.

  • Bring down inflammation: For most people with symptoms that started after getting implants, I recommend starting with and AIP or a food elimination diet for one-three months. Either of these plans will help calm down the immune system, while working on healing and repair.
  • Testing: If financially able, I recommend the following tests: Hair mineral analysis to test for heavy metals, Organic Acid, Stool Study and possibly a Mycotoxin test, if I suspect mold exposure. I also like to utilize the raw data from 23andme to evaluate methylation and detox genetics.
  • Healing and repair: Over the years I have narrowed down and minimized the supplements that work well at healing the intestinal lining and rebalancing gut microbes. The plan includes either MegaMucosa, MegaPrebiotic and Megaspore or Ultra GI Replenish and Megaspore. Please seek advice to see if these supplements are appropriate for you.
  • Destress: One of the most important things to do every day is find time to decompress. This can be in the form of deep breathing, meditation, taking a walk, a hot bath, yoga, etc. My favorite way to bring down stress is to implements a 4-4-4 breathing pattern into your day. Start in a seated position, feet flat on the foot, close your eyes and place your hands on your lap. Breathe in for four counts, hold the breath for four counts and breathe out four counts. Repeat. After you get used to this breathing pattern, it will become more automatic when you are faced with a stressful situation.
  • Sleep: Falling asleep and staying asleep is imperative for the rejuvenation and repair of the immune system and the organs involved with detoxification. Waking up rested sets you up for the day and helps you manage stress and avoid stress eating due to fatigue. Learn to combat and take back control from stress based, emotional eating through our Finally Free workshops! Next one will be in January.
  • Hydration: Drink half of your body weight in ounces of filtered water, every day. This will help you flush out toxins.

Always remember that you are an individual. No one else has your exact DNA, stress, diet, sleep, exercise routine, exposure to heavy metals and other environmental toxins, etc. You are unique. I would love to help you get your health back. Please contact me if you have questions or would like to set up a consult.
